AngularJS Features - Benefits

with 1 comment
AngularJS Features Beginners Must know:

AngularJS is a new and trendy powerful, client-side designing technology that gives a method for achieving truly capable things in a way that grasps and extends HTML, CSS and Javascript, while shoring up some of its glaring inadequacies. It is the thing that HTML would have been, had it been worked for element content.

AngularJS is an awesome JavaScript structure that has some exceptionally convincing features for developers, as well as designers also! In this angularjs tutorial exercise, we will cover what we consider to be the most crucial angularjs features, and how they can make your next web application wonderful.

In this article we will learn few most important angularjs features. If you want to try any angularjs example use let's try option and you can easily execute all angularjs examples.

AngularJS Feature 1: MVC

I think you know very well about normal or traditional MVC software design pattern. In angularjs incorporates the basic principles behind the normal MVC software into  a build client-side web applications. Angularjs is not implementing the MVC in a traditional way but angularjs done MVC something very closer to MVVC (Model-view-view-model).

The Model

The model is just a simple data in the application. This is a normal object of a javascript.

The ViewModel

The viewmodel is the $scope object that lives inside the AngularJS application. $scope is only a basic JavaScript object with a little API intended to distinguish and show changes to its state.

The Controller

The controller is responsible for setting beginning state and enlarging $scope with strategies to control conduct. It is important that the controller does not store state and does not communicate with remote services..

The View

The view is the HTML that exists after AngularJS has passed and ordered the HTML to incorporate rendered markup and bindings.

AngularJS Feature 2: Dependency Injection

Dependency injection is one of the most important angularjs feature. Angularjs contains a build in dependency injection feature that will helps the programmers or developers to make an applications easier to develop, test and understand the flow.

AngularJS comes with an implicit dependency injection mechanism. So You can divide your application into various distinctive sorts of segments which AngularJS can inject into each other. Modularizing your application makes it simpler to reuse, design and test the segments in your application.

AngularJS contains the following core types of objects and components:

  • Value
  • Factory
  • Service
  • Provider
  • Constant
These core types can be injected into each other using AngularJS dependency injection mechanism. Throughout the rest of this text I will explain how to define and inject these components into each other.

AngularJS dependency Injection:

angular.module('myModule', [])
.factory('serviceId', ['depService', function(depService) {
  // ...
}])
.directive('directiveName', ['depService', function(depService) {
  // ...
}])
.filter('filterName', ['depService', function(depService) {
  // ...
}]);

AngularJS Feature 3: Two Way Data-Binding

Data binding is likely the coolest and most valuable feature in AngularJS. It will spare you from writing a lot of standard code. A run of the mill web application may contain up to 80% of its code base, devoted to crossing, controlling, and listening to the DOM. date binding makes this code vanish, so you can concentrate on your application.

AngularJS Feature 4: Templates

In Angular, a template is nothing but a view with HTML components connected to Angular Directives , include markup for data binding using expressions. We will talk about the directives and expressions later in this article.

<div ng-app="BiddingApp">
    <input type="text" ng-model="bid" />

    <p> ${{bid}} </p>
</div>

AngularJS Feature 5: Directives

A angularjs directive is something that presents new syntax. Directives are markers on a DOM component which join a unique conduct to it. For example, static HTML does not know how to create and show a date picker gadget. To show HTML this new grammar we require an order. The mandate will by one means or another make a component that carries on like a date picker. We will perceive how this is accomplished consequently.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.3.8/angular.min.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
    <div ng-app>
        <div ng-include="'hello-world.htm'"></div>
    </div>
</body>
</html>

Other features are testing, filters, providers and controllers. These are all the main angularjs features we will discuss about all the features in the later sessions be in touch.
